 After many parts of Tennesse were flooded by a great rain storm, many of the popular country music stars got together to perform in a festival that would raise funds to help the state get back into good condition. CMA Festival: Country's Night to Rock aired last night, and our one and only Taylor Swift contributed videos of her 13-hour Meet and Greet, as well as a private performace of her newest single "Mine." We have wonderful news regarding Taylor Swift's music video for her newest single "Mine" and that would be...it's finished! We cannot get too exciting though, because still do not have a release date, but word around the forums is that we will not have to wait the rumoured six months. This information comes from Roman White, the director of Taylor Swift's "Mine" music video. Roman White recently blogged telling us about the shoot and what he thinks of the video: "Taylor’s new video for her latest single “MINE” is officially finished and it’s insanely great! I mean, you never really know what a piece is going to look like in the end, but when we were shooting this video everything was just perfect and you just had a feeling that it was all going to fall in to place perfectly . . . as it did." Even with only a half-week of airplay, the song joined in the Billboard Top Country Songs Chart at #26 and on the USA Today/Country Aircheck Chart at #32! What to say? We hope that the rise of "Mine" in the worldwide charts will continue for a very long time, reaching ever higher positions! Congratulations again, Taylor! The country star Taylor Swift was picked by fans as their 2010 choice for celebrity induction into the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame. This was the first year that voting was opened to fans, and Taylor fans really proved themselves this time because Taylor Swift received more votes than pop-icon Justin Bieber. Taylor's photo and plaque will be hang in the Hall of Fame later this summer.
